Can I change the design during the build process?
While changes are sometimes possible during construction, they can impact both timeline and budget. While we understand that adjustments might be desired during construction, making changes during the build process can often lead to increased costs and extended timelines. Changes made after construction has begun may require demolition of completed work, reordering materials, and additional labor. We strongly encourage clients to finalize the design before construction starts to minimize these potential disruptions. However, if changes are absolutely necessary, we'll work with you and the contractor to assess the impact on the project and implement the changes as efficiently as possible. We'll also provide a clear understanding of any associated costs and schedule adjustments. Open communication with the contractor and architect is essential for managing changes effectively during construction.
